Flourless Chocolate Oreo Brownies

A lot of people have been demanding the recipe for these brownies and just to let everyone know it isn't a recipe I made up myself. I have to give many thanks to Nigella Lawson for the genius way of cooking brownies the soft and gooey way (the way they should be) and to who ever it was that posted the concept of Oreo in brownies on Tumblr :) So let's get on with it.....

Cooks around 16 Pieces

Play around with the ingredients a bit. You might want to add almounds? walnuts? cherries? Or try different types of chocolate. Milk? Dark? White? I used a combination of white and dark which gave the brownies that extra richness because I have a terrible sweet tooth. I've also provided you guys with ingredients with a Hot Chocolate sauce that you may want to use. Not just for brownies it could be used for other various deserts as well.

What you will need:
- 225g dark chocolate
- 225g butter
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 200g caster sugar
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 packet and a half of oreos, crushed into pebble size pieces

1) Preheat oven to 170C/gas mark 3. Melt chocolate and butter gently over a low heat in a heavy-based saucepan.

2) Take pan off the heat, mix in the vanilla and suagr and let it cool for a bit.

3) Beat the eggs into the pan along with the crushed oreos. Turn into a 24cm square baking tin.

4) Bake in the oven for 25-30minutes, by which time the top will have set but the content will be still gooey inside! Once cooled, four down and four across, into 16 gooey suqares!

Hot Chocolate Sauce
- 75g dark chocolate
- 125ml double cream
- 1 x 15ml tablespoon golden syrup

1) Break up chocolate into heavy-based saucepan.

2) Add the remaining ingredients, then place the pan over a gentle heat and let everything melt together.

3) Once everything has melted, stir well, turn off the heat and pour into a jug to serve.
